Thursday Workout

Good God do I have a ton of energy today.  I have no idea why, but I’m going to use that energy to its fullest.

That is one benefit of being active and eating well is that your energy skyrockets.  If your energy levels are in the toilet, look at how you’re living.  Are you eating too much junk?  Are you eating enough fruits and veggies?  Are you working out regularly.

If not, then start making changes and you’ll see positive changes in your energy levels.

Today is another deadlift day.  Man, I love doing these things, although my grip is kind of weak for some reason.  I need to figure that one out.

I’ve also got a little bit more time this afternoon so I’m going to be making the workout a little longer.  Not with a regular workout, though.  I’m changing up my 10 Minute Workout bonus, so I’m seeing what needs to be added to really turn these into butt kickers!

1)  Trap Bar Deadlift:  4 x 5

2A)  DB Row:  3 x 12
2B)  DB Reverse Lunge:  3 x 12

3A)  DB Rear Flies:  3 x 15
3B)  1-Leg Leg Curl:  3 x 15 per leg

4)  Did some bicep work…gotta get the guns baby!  This is another thing I’m toying with as well.  I’ve already got add-on workouts for the guys that work the arms, but I’m thinking of doing more like my buddy Craig Ballantyne is doing.

And like I said earlier, I’m revamping my 10 Minute Workout bonus so I’m figuring out what additions and subtractions should be made there so my arms and abs will be shaking by the time I’m done.
