I'm glad to see that you know yourself well enough to know what you can and can't do and how it will effect your weight loss.

I'm not a big fan of the long workouts - I'm a trainer and there's no way in hell you'd get me doing a 90 minute workout, especially every day.

You don't need to "torture yourself" that long in the name of weight loss. I'd like to know what you're doing so I can help you out a little and get the weight loss kick started and free up some of your time.

I mostly agree with you. I don't quite have a plan, but I find eating a certain way enables me to lose weight, and if for social or other reasons, I eat differently (as I will this Saturday night), it slows it down. That's ok, I accept that in the name of enjoying myself at a big dinner out. If I do it all the time, weight loss will stop, but I'm okay with a pause now and again in the name of enjoying myself. OTOH, I never eat with abandon, and not feeling guilty about it helps with that. I'll still be at the gym Sunday morning, and probably won't eat that much that day. I probably won't be hungry. I still eat a Thin Mint cookie almost every day, which is not great for diets, but it keeps me happy. I can eat more than many who are dieting because I DO exercise average 90 minutes/day. Weight loss is slow, I'm only willing to torture myself so much.
