I wouldn't get too worried about fruit.

I've never encountered a person who consumes a lot of fruit who's had issues with their weight. If I were to tell you not to eat fruit, that would be kind of silly.

I'm going to tell you what I tell everybody else - eat lots of fresh produce, and that means lots of fresh fruits. If you're still worried about the sugar content, just eat the fruit with something that's got some protein and/or fat in it like almonds.

Thanks for the question Danielle and let me know if you need anything else.

Hey there,

Very interesting note re pineapple. Because it is so high in natural fruit sugars, isn't it high in kilojoules and therefore a bit harder to burn?

I am losing weight and am really confused about which are the good fruits to eat for weightloss and which I should be avoiding. There are so many different stories! Is there an accurate list of these somewhere?

I forgot about grilling pineapple!

Summer time is grillin' time at our house and grilled pineapple is one of my new favorites to have with my steak or burger.

Good one Cheri.

I love pineapple too! One of the things that we do in my household is grill fresh pineapple. Pretty easy. Just spray a little bit of cooking spray on the pieces and grill lightly on each side. Tastes great with grilled chicken breast or pork. Or by itself as a dessert.
