Do I Rant and Rave Too Much? H-e-double hockey stick NO!
Over the past week or so I’ve been ranting a bit more than normal.
It may sound as though I’m an inconsiderate jerk who doesn’t understand the way everybody feels or thinks.
I think it’s just the opposite.
Please don’t misunderstand. I’m not trying to come across as a jerk, although it may sound like I’m doing my damndest to be a jerk.
The way I write is with a lot of passion. I feel very passionate about fitness and health in general and it drives me crazy when marketers and other so-called fitness and health experts flat out lie just to make a few bucks.
And so I try to discredit them whenever possible by calling them out and showing them for the frauds they are.
It also drives me crazy when greedy pharmaceutical companies try to cash in on the weight loss industry by coming up with drugs that mess with our body’s chemistry when they only mess things up worse and give you nasty side effects.
Believe me, I understand how difficult it is to lose fat. I’m not one of those genetic freaks out there walking around who can workout once or twice a week, eat whatever he wants and maintain a fit body.
Quite the contrary. I have to work at it and there are a lot of days when I feel like saying “screw it” and eating a bowl of Ben & Jerry’s or eat an entire bag of mini Peanut Butter cups.
So please don’t let my rants make you believe that I’m a jerk who doesn’t know what it’s like to struggle with weight loss.
I’m just passionate about it and don’t want you to struggle and I want to teach you to open your eyes and realize that there are a lot of people out there who flat out lie to you only to get into your wallets and steal your money.
They know what they’re selling doesn’t work and they don’t care.
They know there is little oversight in the supplement and fitness industry so they can say pretty much whatever they want and get away with it.
Remember all those companies getting sued because they crammed their weight loss pills with ephedra and people who shouldn’t be consuming ephedra in those dosages started dying? Well the government didn’t step in for quite some time and one of the biggest reasons they stepped in was because ephedra is a main ingredient in the manufacturing of meth.
However what most people don’t realize is that the government quietly backed off its banning of ephedra in weight loss pills and it’s now available again, although most companies don’t want to use it because they found other ways of stealing your money without killing people.
They just started cramming their weight loss pills with even more caffeine than they already had.
Sorry, I got off on a tangent and started to rant again, but hopefully you realize how passionate I am about this field.
If I ever get out of line, let me know and I’ll slap myself silly.
Or I’ll tell you to buzz off…but I’ll say it with a smile.
Have a great weekend!
