I love weekends.
I love getting away from the office for a little while and just relaxing and hanging out with my wife and daughter.
I love being able to watch football (that’s American football for you non-Americans) and I almost jumped for joy as my Huskers nearly pulled off a huge upset on Saturday.
I also take a break from my regular workouts on the weekends. Don’t get me wrong, I still try to remain active, but I just don’t do my regular workouts. I give my body a little rest, as you should too if you do your workouts throughout the week.
But I get to the point where I’m ready to get back into the swing of things and get back into my workouts, especially now.
I’ve got a new goal and I’m really fired up for it.
I’m not going to tell you what my goal is because most people get mad when I tell them what I’m trying to do…oh what the heck, I’ll tell you. I’m trying to put on some weight. I went a little too far with my nutrition and workouts this summer, plus I was pretty stressed out and that led to more weight loss than I wanted.
Are you mad at me for telling you that : )
Anyway, I had a little free time this morning so Andrea and Maren came to the studio to do a workout and I did mine at the same time. It’s kind of fun having Maren running around the studio while Andrea and I workout, but at the same time it’s kind of a pain in the butt because she terrorizes my studio by running all over the place and throwing things around. I wouldn’t trade that time for anything, though.
I got in a great workout, but after they left I still felt like doing a little more. I felt like doing some extra work for my arms and abs.
Rather than telling you what I did, I’ve got a couple videos to show you exactly what the add-on workouts were.
Click the link below to head to my blog and check out the videos. Give them a try today after your regular workout.
If done right they’re killers!
Have a great day!

How often shuold they be done per week, in order to see results?Does it matter if they are done day or night?
It doesn’t matter whether you do then in the morning or evening – whenever you have time is when they should be done.
As far as your first question, I would add them to your regular workouts 2-4 times per week.
