10 Minute Workout and Me Be Delerious
Maren woke up at 4:30 this morning and I couldn’t get back to sleep after that, so if something in here doesn’t make sense, it’s because I’m delirious…not because I’m stupid. Thank God for spellchecker!
I just got done with my last fat loss boot camp that I teach here in my training studio and I have a few minutes before my next client arrives so I decided to cram in a 10 minute workout.
The day’s pretty packed with stuff to do, but I knew I’d be able to get a workout done now and then later this afternoon when I’m at home hanging out with Maren. That one will be a bodyweight workout that will include lots of pull-ups and full body abs exercises because she demands that I do pull-ups when I work out at home. I don’t know why, but she likes watching me do pull-ups. I think it’s because after I’m done, I hold her up to the bar and she’ll hammer out a few pull-ups…then I make her flex her muscles for daddy.
Good times being a dad.
Anyway, here’s the workout I did this morning.
2 minute warm-up consisting of push-ups and bodyweight squats, then on to a circuit of:
1A) T Push-up – 12 reps
1B) Lunge – 8 per leg
1C) DB Bent Over Row – 10 reps
1D) DB Push Press – 10 reps
I did as many circuits as I could in 8 minutes without resting at all. To say that I was pooped when I was done is an understatement.
One of the cool things about these 10 minute workouts is that you can do them like I’m doing mine today. Do them twice a day. Once in the morning and once in the late afternoon or evening. They only take 10 minutes so that’s not asking for that much of your free time and you’ll feel so much better once you’re done.
